From: Kay
Graham-Gilbert Including insights from renowned business gurus A short time ago, I had the privilege of being selected to be a co-author for a unique business book -- a compilation of tried and true advice on multiple subjects from successful professionals. Although successful in the work I have done ... I was not as well known as some of the other authors chosen for this project (Mark Victor Hansen, Bob Proctor, Brian Tracy etc.). I was thrilled to be a part of this endeavor. To have my work alongside other well respected and successful business advisors and more importantly, the chance to learn from them! As the book project developed with chapters written and consolidated, the publisher garnered acknowledgements from top notch business gurus like Ken Blanchard (author of One Minute Manager) and Harvey Mackay (author of Swim With the Sharks Without Being Eaten Alive. These type of endorsements do not come easily. It is my understanding that at least one of the endorsing authors is asked to support many books but only provides 2 per year and our book was one of them! Kind of like, E.F. Hutton "when he talks, everyone listens". It was difficult for me, as I am sure it was for the other authors, to select a single topic for this book. As any true business advisor, when I talk with other business professionals I get drawn into the challenges they are facing and want to assist them not only through sharing my own expertise but offering suggestions on where to find the solution they need. When I think about it now, I guess that is one of the reasons I was compelled to contribute to this business resource. The opportunity to provide other business owners and executives a resource to help them make a business breakthrough. Professionals, just like you. |
